Highland Ave Residence

Scope: Addition, Renovation
Location: St. Catharines, ON

A quaint 1,000 sq. ft. home abutting a golf course needed more space for entertaining.  This was achieved by utilizing the existing deck as the base for the living room. The goal was to create a living room that was spacious enough for entertaining, a larger master bedroom and lastly enough changes to the home so it would not look like an addition.

The existing façade of the home was removed and finished with stucco and cultured stone. This transformation brought the home into the 21st century. The new living room’s focal point is the modern custom wall unit that marries well with the traditional elements of the home. The master bedroom was fitted with new and larger windows that provide the bedroom with views of the garden. The master ensuite has complimenting cherry cabinets with a one-piece coloured concrete sink.
